The other evening, I caught a last-minute advertisement for an appearance by U2 (the rock band) in Second Life. So, being rather new to the Second Life scene, and despite not being a huge U2 fan, I went along to see what was happening. See screen shots here (flickr). The event was not hugely attended. However, from conversations with some of the staff of the venue later, I learned that other tribute bands are planned. Check for events on Google: SL + band name.
